Which ones appeal to you?
Whose message do you heed
In times of deepest need?
Whose word can we believe
With a host who deceive?
Only God cannot lie,
On His Word we rely.
In the Bible we find
Thoughts from God’s heart and mind.
From the start to the end,
His story He did wend.
His truths He clearly told
Through many men of old,
Through prophets, kings, and more,
God revealed what’s in store,
For those who will believe,
Cleansing from Christ receive,
And those who turn away
From the Truth, Life, and Way.
And He showed how to live,
Turn to Him, love, forgive.
Us the truth God will show
If we seek Him to know.
Then He’ll help us confess
Christ, as a true witness,
So others too may hear
And turn from all their fear,
In Christ find sweet release
And everlasting peace.
So today, heed God’s Word,
Obey what you have heard,
From the false quickly flee,
Seek truth to know and be.
